Quick Start Guide

Go from zero to your first survey response in under 5 minutes.

Step 1: Create Your Account

Visit surveythis.online/signup and create a free account with your email address. No credit card required.

Step 2: Create a Survey

1. From your dashboard, click New Survey.
2. Give your survey a title and optional description.
3. Optionally set an Analysis Goal — this helps our AI understand what you're looking for when you run analysis later.

Step 3: Add Questions

Use the survey builder to add questions. SurveyThis supports 12+ question types, from multiple choice and rating scales to open text and NPS.

For each question, you can configure:

• Question text — The question itself
• Description — Optional helper text shown below the question
• Required — Whether respondents must answer before continuing
• Options — For multiple choice, checkbox, dropdown, and scale questions

Step 4: Configure Settings

Before publishing, review your survey settings:

• Theme color — Brand your survey with a custom accent color
• Progress bar — Show or hide the progress indicator
• Question numbers — Show or hide question numbering
• Thank you message — Custom message shown after submission
• Redirect URL — Send respondents to a URL after completing the survey

Step 5: Publish & Share

1. Click Publish to make your survey live.
2. Copy your unique share link — it looks like surveythis.online/s/aBcDeFgHiJ.
3. Share via email, social media, embed on your website, or send directly to your audience.

Step 6: Analyze Results

Once responses start coming in:

1. View real-time analytics in Dashboard → Surveys → [Your Survey].
2. See completion rates, response timelines, and per-question breakdowns.
3. Run AI Analysis to get executive summaries, sentiment analysis, theme extraction, and more.
